Privacy Policy
This app shows public bushfire information on a map. There is no account to create, no ads, and no tracking — and your location never leaves your device.

The app can use your location to centre the map on you and to show which bushfires are closest. Your location is used only on your device — it is never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and no location history is kept. You can decline the location permission and still use the app.
Incident information is downloaded from the public NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) feed. When the app fetches this public data it sends no personal information about you. This app is an independent project and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the NSW RFS.
On supported devices, the app can use Apple's on-device intelligence to summarise fire information for easier reading and to show a short "nearest alert" summary. This processing happens entirely on your device. No fire text, location, or personal data is sent to us or to any server for this. AI summaries are convenience features and may be inaccurate — always rely on the official NSW RFS.
We run no servers of our own. The app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking or data-collection tools.
Your preferences (such as zoom level, start location, AI toggles and whether you've left a tip) are stored only on your device and are removed if you delete the app.
Leaving a tip is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment details — Apple processes payments under Apple's own privacy policy.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new date above.

Informationen om bränder hämtas från det offentliga flödet hos NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS). När appen hämtar dessa offentliga data skickas ingen personlig information om dig. Appen är ett självständigt projekt och är inte kopplad till eller godkänd av NSW RFS.
På enheter som stöder det kan appen använda Apples intelligens lokalt på enheten för att sammanfatta brandinformation och visa en kort sammanfattning av närmaste varning. Denna bearbetning sker helt på din enhet. Ingen brandtext, plats eller personlig data skickas till oss eller till någon server för detta. AI-sammanfattningar är hjälpfunktioner och kan vara felaktiga — förlita dig alltid på officiella NSW RFS.
Vi driver inga egna servrar. Appen innehåller ingen reklam, ingen analys och inga tredjepartsverktyg för spårning eller datainsamling.
Dina inställningar (som zoomnivå, startplats, AI-reglage och om du har gett dricks) lagras endast på din enhet och tas bort om du avinstallerar appen.
Att ge dricks är ett engångsköp som hanteras helt av Apple via App Store. Vi ser aldrig dina betaluppgifter — Apple behandlar betalningar enligt Apples egen integritetspolicy.
